TRICKLE

clotted and coagulated
and constipated
at a loss for words
unable to flow
nary a trickle

stuck in the mud
and the throat
those golden times
are olden times
not knowing any better

or any worse?

ignorance oh such bliss
and oh so precious
not yet to experience
the experiences
since experienced

unbeknownst to you
your innocence, remember?
once as pure and white as snow
your authenticity
never to be recouped

nary a trickle.
