TUMS

sometimes heaven
sometimes hell
one day can suck
the next day swell
this life we’ve got
you never know
one day to next
how things will go
the times are good
and then they’re bad
so often happy
then they’re sad
the years unfold
and glory comes
but when it doesn’t
chew some tums.

  1. Delightful – I like the rhyme & the conclusion! (Our late friend David B used to always have a supply of Peppermint Lifesavers – I now try always to have them on hand, & often think about him, prolific Artist that he was)!
