SINK

I don’t wanna turn off the faucet
It’s either a full on gushing with danger of overflowing
Or drips slowly and painfully and loudly

Drip, drip.

The sink is full at the moment
It happens sometimes when my mind is idle
And when my heart is empty and lonely for you

Times like now.

I can’t bear to open the drain
I don’t want to watch the water go away
Like you did.
