ONE-LANE BRIDGE

Driving down the mountain ridge
We come upon a one-lane bridge
The sun is high
The trees in bloom
The weaving road
No elbow room

To cross the creek
The road gets straight
The way we must negotiate
The bridge ahead
One-lane ya know
One car must stop
The other go

The bridge is one
Lane at a time
I wrote this just
To bust a rhyme
